I know why you did it, but Medium has rules against doing this because if we make an error and falsely accuse someone they will lose readers based on say so.
Your say so is true but Medium needs to investigate reports and suspend accounts before we post articles about specific people Spamming or stealing other’s work and claiming it is their own.
Choosing well edited publications is part of being a writer and reader on Medium. Clicking on the handle of new people who comment on my work is part of what I do regularly. Blocking or muting someone who doesn’t have anything published in the last three months is something I do regularly.
I still follow and read many writers. I don’t write about the violations of Medium rules I report them. Also I don’t want to earn money by writing about spammers anyway.
It feels like Medium Support is writing about one official answer. You are asking about the ability to write about individuals in a negative way, and if your first article is suspended?
I would say - assume it is rejected - because you mentioned an individual and their handle.

The only way I can trust no false accusation could be published in an article is by having a rule against all people writing negative stories about any Medium writers. This topic is verboten.

I had my own strange experiences there: bot accounts, spammers, and my account getting suspended four times. Each time, it happened right after I hit a decent earnings streak—around $30 a day.
